Outside corners are mitered and eased by hand rather than capped with trim, and reveals are held to one consistent shadow line, checked with a fingertip as much as a straightedge. At this scale, a millimeter reads from across the room.

How we work
We template the fireplace or wall itself, not just the plan of it, and draw every seam and miter before the first cut.
Substrates are shimmed and ground true, because a mitered edge only closes over a flat wall.
One pair of hands sets the last piece, and no miter is called closed until it reads as a single line.
